Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

At Domo we handle personal data with care and in accordance with Argentina's Personal Data Protection Act No. 25.326. This policy explains what data we process, for what purpose, with whom it is shared, and what rights you have. The Service is provided by Enrique Oriolo (Tax ID/CUIT 20-35165631-0), contact hola@domoiglesia.com.

1. Roles: who is accountable for the data

Each church using Domo is the controller of its community's data. Domo acts as the data processor (service provider): we process that data on the church's behalf, solely to run the platform, under the Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

2. What data we process

  • Account data: church name, administrator contact details and access credentials.
  • Directory data: data about the people in the community (name, contact, address, family group, relevant dates).
  • Sensitive data: church membership and the pastoral-care notes the church records (e.g. health, family or spiritual situations) constitute sensitive data. They receive reinforced protection and restricted access based on the permissions set by the church (see Section 4).
  • Usage data: technical logs needed for security and support.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use the data to provide the contracted Service: directory, groups, events, attendance and pastoral care management. Processing is based on performing the service requested by the church. For sensitive data, the basis is the data subject's express consent, which the church obtains and keeps as controller (Section 7, Act 25.326); Domo only processes it on the church's instructions.

4. Isolation and security

Each church operates on a separate database, so one community's data is not accessible from another. We apply role-based access controls, encryption in transit and periodic backups. No system is 100% infallible, but we work to protect information with reasonable, up-to-date measures. In the event of a security incident affecting personal data, we will notify the controller church without undue delay so it can meet its obligations.

5. Who we share with and where data is processed

We do not sell personal data. We only use providers necessary to operate the Service, contractually bound to process data under this policy and only on our instructions:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Alojamiento e infraestructura (Estados Unidos).
  • Postmark / Resend — Envío de correos transaccionales (Estados Unidos).
  • Lemon Squeezy — Procesamiento de pagos y facturación (Estados Unidos).

We may disclose data where required by law or a competent authority.

6. International transfer

Some of our providers (hosting, email and payments) are located in the United States. As a result, data may be transferred and stored outside the church's country of origin. Where the controller church is in Argentina, this transfer to a country without an adequate level of protection under Act 25.326 is based on the Customer's consent —given by accepting these terms— and on contractual commitments with providers requiring adequate security measures. You may ask us for details of these safeguards.

7. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary technical cookies for the site to work: keeping your session, protecting forms (security token) and remembering your language preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not profile your browsing. As they are strictly necessary, they do not require prior consent; you may block them in your browser, but the Service may not work correctly.

8. Retention

We keep data while the account is active. After termination, a reasonable window is offered to export the information before its permanent deletion, unless a legal obligation requires keeping it longer.

9. Your rights

As a data subject you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, update and deletion of your information. If your data is in a church's directory, contact that church first (the data controller); you may also write to us at hola@domoiglesia.com and we will route it. We also address requests from data subjects located outside Argentina to the extent applicable law requires.

Argentina's Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), the supervisory authority for Act 25.326, handles complaints from those whose rights are affected.

10. Minors

The directory may include minors uploaded by the church under its responsibility and with the consent of those holding parental authority where applicable.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will publish the current version on this page and communicate material changes through the registered contact channels.
